It was -8 Celsius here and we were going for a jog. Once we got into the leash-free area though, we met up with the www.galgo-in-not.at group and their galgos took off after Meagan. She seemed to lead them on a bit but the pack soon ran her so far off they were out of sight for about twenty minutes. The Prater Park is pretty big, but these dogs and cover the lenght of the park in a couple of minutes, at which point they might be out in the street. Usually I just have to whistle and she will circle back around with the other dogs playing catch up. But this time she wouldn’t return since the other galgos were already back with the group and she didn’t seem to want to come too close to the pack of strange dogs. Next time I expect we will see them at full speed. We shall see if Meagan does the chasing next time. ...
